Top 3 Least Common Survival Gears

There is a large range of tactical gear available to users based on a users’ specification or location of usage. These kits range from a small compass to a jigsaw blade. Other small and uncommon kits are wearable and built into daily use survival bracelets or belts. Some unpopular tactical gear that can serve as survival gear is a compass, whistles, safety pin, parachute cord, tactical bracelets or blade, and many others. However, here are the top three on our list.

  • Compass

When used for navigation and orienting yourself in your environment, a compass shows the cardinal directions. Magnetic North is usually aligned by pivoting a magnetized needle or some other element, such as a compass rose, with a compass card. Alternatively, magnetometers, gyroscopes, and GPS receivers may be used.

  • Whistle

Even though they require barely any effort to blow, whistles produce an exceptionally loud sound.  Rescue personnel will be drawn to your location by the sound of a whistle. It is common for whistles to contain peas, which produce a trilling sound.  If this distinct sound is present, it will not be confused with the howling wind that occurs in hurricanes, storms, or tornados.

  • Parachutes Cord

The parachutes cord is a tactical gear with lightweight nylon rope originally used as suspension lines in parachutes. Among the various things, this cord is used today are attachments to harnesses, as dummy cords to avoid losing small or important items in transport vehicles, tying backpacks to vehicle racks, and securing camouflage nets to trees and vehicles. With beads threaded through it, paracord could be used as a footpace counter to estimate where the foot travels. Since the nylon sheath is thinner and less elastic, shoelaces are often made without a yarn core because of the nylon sheath. You can eliminate fraying by melting or crimping the cord ends.
